The Cathay has reopened its doors with a sleek new interior and a few crowd-pleasing surprises. The national-monument façade on Handy Road still anchors the complex, but step inside and you’ll find a brighter atrium wrapped around a three-storey, 360° multimedia tower—an immersive HD display ringed by bleacher-style seating that turns the mall’s heart into a casual gathering space.
